40+
years serving our neighbors with bread baked the old way.
Our Story
A bakery built on
slow dough and
slow mornings.
Tikal Bakery opened its doors on Broad Street with a simple conviction: that the best bread requires nothing more than quality flour, real butter, patient fermentation, and hands that care. No shortcuts. No industrial timers. Just the rhythm of a working kitchen.
What started as a single oven and a loyal neighborhood has grown into Central Falls' gathering place — where commuters stop for a coffee, families grab weekend pastries, and regulars know the baker by name.
Every loaf we pull from the deck oven carries that same intention. Every cup of coffee is poured the way you'd want yours poured at home. This isn't a chain with a playbook. It's a bakery that learned its craft the way craft is supposed to be learned — by showing up, day after day, and doing the work.
